On this day 342 years ago pueblo communities said ‘enough’. They stood together in opposition to colonialism and fought for independence with the intention of preserving a culture bound in community, family, and traditions. The Pueblo Revolt illustrates the power we hold as Indigenous Peoples and the strength we possess when standing united in defense of our sacred lifeways.

We support the historic and meaningful steps proposed in the IRA and acknowledge the effort it has taken to get this bill back into consideration and we respectfully implore you to hold the line against any new fossil fuel projects and use every tool available to advance a truly just, renewable energy future that does not sacrifice our communities or perpetuate injustice, especially by the fossil fuel industry.

NDN Collective travels to D.C. to challenge elected officials and stakeholders to engage in deeper conversation with Indigenous communities.

Leading up to the Napa Institute’s annual convening, NDN Collective, alongside the greater Bay Area community, rallied to disrupt William “Bill” Barr’s keynote. Though met with violence from conference attendees, protesters sent a clear message; Fascism is not welcome.

NDN Collective announces the third cohort of NDN Changemaker Fellows, comprised of 21 Indigenous Changemakers from across Turtle Island and surrounding island nations.

The two-day event featured NDN Changemaker Fellows who are radically transforming Indigenous communities by defending Indigenous lands and rights, developing sustainable solutions for the future, and decolonizing their day-to-day lives, their families, communities and Nations.

We sat down with our very own Jordan Brien, Creative Director for NDN Collective, to talk about fatherhood and healing. His story ignites hope for a generation of Indigenous parents who are actively working to break colonial cycles of trauma while strengthening the family unit.

Over a thousand people came together for the first-ever For the People Festival headlined by over a dozen Indigenous artists from across Turtle Island, after an earlier planned event went awry.

NDN Collective and a growing coalition of community members are mobilizing a boycott against the Grand Gateway Hotel and all Uhre-owned family businesses in response to discrimination and racist business practices.
